Sanford Research/USD is currently searching for post-doctoral fellows to join our growing research institution.
Sanford Research/USD is a non-profit [501(c.)3] organization formed by the Sanford School of Medicine of the University of South Dakota and Sioux Valley Hospitals & Health System.
We are dedicated to research excellence through the work of our Cardiovascular Research Center, Signal Transduction Institute, Cancer Biology Research Center, Health Disparities Institute and Nutrition and Metabolic Diseases Research Institute.
Sanford Research/USD receives research funding from the National Institutes of Health, the American Heart Association and The South Dakota State Legislature and Sioux Valley Hospitals & Health System.
Located in Sioux Falls, SD- a rapidly growing small metropolitan area that is consistently rated as one of the top ten small cities in the United States.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidates will have the following qualifications:
MD or PhD degree awarded, with documented publication record
Strong background in molecular or cellular biology or in (bio)informatics
Ability to effectively communicate, both written and orally, in English
Ability to conduct presentations on research
Salary:
Commensurate with NIH guidelines
Time:
This is a 100%, 12 month/year position
