Applications are invited for a faculty position with The University of South Dakota at Sanford Research/USD (www.SanfordResearch-USD.org) in the Cardiovascular Research Center (CRI). This position will be filled at the assistant, associate, or professor level.
CRI is directed by Dr. A. Martin Gerdes and has six faculty engaged primarily in studies of the molecular mechanisms of heart failure.
Applicants with a background in heart development, vascular disease, diabetes, or heart failure are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have a PhD/MD or equivalent degree and a minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience.
Competitive salaries, startup funds, and lab space will be provided. The new faculty member will have access to CRI Physiology, Imaging, Cell Culture, Molecular Biology and Flow Cytometry Cores.
