CANCER BIOLOGY RESEARCH CENTER Director: W. Keith Miskimins, Ph.D The National Cancer Center estimates that approximately 10.1 million Americans live each da with a history of cancer. Amost 1.4 million Americans are expected to be diagnosed in 2006. The Cancer Biology Center (formerly the Oncology Research Institute) has grown from 2 principal investigator to 5 principal investigators over the last two years. Areas of research include breast, prostate, cervical and ovarian cancers. According to the American Cancer Society's "Cancer Facts and Figures 2006":
